i have never given much thought to who i am as a person with any significant or finite definition. for the most part i believe i am open to life and living. i am who you believe me to be or expect me to be...i am a caring and devoted mother, a loving, dedicated and committed partner, an understanding and giving sister and daughter, a laughable character with a corny sense of humour, a lover of great tasting foods with an adventurous palate, an admirer of strong and bold men and women, a fragile soul that yearns for unconditional love and perpetual happiness, a maniac for chocolate and ice cream, a spiritual being, an often misunderstood and misguided person, a person of average IQ, an avid thinker of my being, our being, a collector of personal simple treasures, a person who lives to write and most all a person that has the uncontrollable habit of rambling...

We've been at our ranch for a couple of weeks and away from internet access, got in about 8:30 last night; just in time to fall asleep before midnight. Oh well, we tried. It was a difficult time, getting through the holidays, but I am at peace, and it is good to be home. Hope your year is the best ever!
